(Rain or Shine)\nClosing Ceremony: At Veteran’s Overlook\, Clinch Mountain\, Grainger County\n\nThe opening ceremony features patriotic singing\, guest speakers\, an appearance by an American Bald Eagle\, and a wreath-laying at the Veteran’s Monument. The ride itself is a 65-mile\, non-stop journey across five counties\, drawing attention and support from local television networks\, newspapers\, and radio stations. Last year\, our message reached from Washington D.C. to Florida\, thanks to our sponsors and participants. \nThis event is run entirely by volunteers and is non-profit. DESCRIPTION:Gatlinburg’s River Raft Regatta – A Kid’s Adventure!\nHey everyone! Guess what? It’s almost time for one of the coolest events ever – Gatlinburg’s River Raft Regatta! I’m super excited to tell you all about it. It’s happening on July 4\, 2024\, and it’s going to be a blast! \nEvent Details: \n\nDate: July 4\, 2024\nLocation: 510 River Road\, Gatlinburg\, TN 37738\n\nWhat’s the River Raft Regatta? It’s this awesome race where a bunch of floaty things race down the Little Pigeon River. You don’t even have to ride them – they float by themselves! You can use a rubber duck or make your own super cool boat to enter into the race. \nHere’s How It Works: \n\nRegister Your Floaty: Be at the starting line at the former Christ in the Smokies Museum at 11 a.m. to sign up your floatable.\nRace Time: The race starts at 1 p.m. and goes until all the floaties cross the finish line at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies.\n\nHow to Join the Fun: \n\nYou can rent a rubber duck for $2 or get three for $5 right there. Or\, if you have your own floaty creation\, bring it for free!\nAll the money we raise goes to the Gatlinburg Chamber Foundation\, which is awesome because it helps out our community.\n\nWin Cool Prizes: There are trophies for the 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place winners in the Treasure\, Duck\, and Most Creative Float categories. Imagine winning a trophy for your super cool floaty! \nWhy You Should Come: It’s part of the big Fourth of July celebration in Gatlinburg\, so there will be fireworks\, fun\, and lots of people cheering. DESCRIPTION:Lovin’ Life in the Smokies invites you to join us for the world’s largest classic Ford truck show\, the Grand National F-100 Show! Taking place at a brand-new outside venue\, this event promises to be an unforgettable celebration of classic Ford trucks. \nEvent Highlights: \n\nDate: May 16-18th New for 2024! All pre-registered trucks go straight to the Show Truck entrance upon arrival. There you will give your registration number and receive your show packet with wrist bands\, windshield tag\, and show program before parking.\nShow Area: Set up your space with chairs\, pop-up tents (8′ X 8′ preferred\, but no larger than 10′ X 10′)\, and coolers. This will be your designated space for the event.\n\nImportant Information: \n\nPets: The LeConte Center does not allow animals. For the safety and comfort of your pets\, please leave them at home.\nGolf Carts: No private golf carts are allowed at the show. Scooter rentals are available on site.\nEligible Trucks: The show is open to all Ford trucks from 1996 and older\, but no Broncos or Rancheros.\nOvernight Parking: You can leave your trucks in the show area overnight with 24/7 security on site.
